I came across this video of the Kokosingers, an a capella group from Ohio on Youtube yesterday. I really like their performance of Wolf Gang’s “The King and All His Men” here. Also watch their version of “Little Lion Man”.

Recently most of the bands playing this year’s Campusrock in Fürstenfeld were announced. The include Kosheen, Sugarplum Fairy and Jennifer Rostock. Really great that they managed to get Kosheen. The others, well ok.
This year they are also trying something new. Last year they already had a so called “warm up party” but this time CR is a whole series of four events:
According to the website there is one more band for the Festival yet to be announced. I’ll keep you updated.

Song of the Day: Fettes Brot – “Bettina (Superpunk Remix)”
Notes: I listended to the live broadcast of today’s Fettes Brot gig on Einslive (thanks to Flo for that tipp). This song sound much better live in concert than on record. Listen to it on the Bette Frost myspace page or watch the live video from Vienna.
Only two weeks to go until the 2008 edition of the Campusrock festival in Fürstenfeld. This time they are going big again!! In the sixth year of its existance the festival is two days long and open air on the Fürstenfeld air field for the first time. And also the bands playing are bigger than ever before:

I think it’s gonna be great (well, I’ll only be there on Saturday) and I also hope that they wont have financial losses afterwards as they had three years ago when they had e.g. IAMX, Virgina Jetzt and 4lyn.
