There are some politicians, especially from smaller parties, who have quite absurde demands and proposals before elections. Like the guy you can see in this video. He actually ran in the elections for the state parliament of the German province of Hessen. Thanks to Flo for the link.
In the beginning it sounds a bit funny but this guy has some quite radical and right wing opinions.
By the way, also in 17th edition of Fernsehkritik TV there is a report about the elections in Bavaria, which took place last month where also some smaller parties present their ideas and “solutions” for Bavaria… -

About a year ago a guy from Hamburg/Germany was (just like many other people) fed up with the TV programmes dumbing down the people. So he started the monthly online show Fernsehkritik TV where he shows curiosities and interesting/dumb things that occur on German television. Everything from call-in programmes to intellectual discussions is covered on the show.
