Originally there was a dirt session planned for this weekend. But if you look at this picture taken at the Dirtpark two days ago I think we could rather go swimming there.
By the way, it had stopped raining yesterday after basically three days of constant rain but it started again just now…

Recently most of the bands playing this year’s Campusrock in Fürstenfeld were announced. The include Kosheen, Sugarplum Fairy and Jennifer Rostock. Really great that they managed to get Kosheen. The others, well ok.
This year they are also trying something new. Last year they already had a so called “warm up party” but this time CR is a whole series of four events:
According to the website there is one more band for the Festival yet to be announced. I’ll keep you updated.

Zeronic in concert
It’s been rather quiet around Austrian indie band Zeronic for a few years now. But they are back with a new album called “The Price of Zeitgeist”. On their website they have an album player with snippets form all the songs and a video for the title track “The price of Zeitgeist” on Youtube.

The guys from the Dirtpark/Dirtranch in Fürstenfeld were selected to be “Baumeister des Monats” in the German Mountainbike Rider Magazine! You can find an article about them in the current issue of the magazin which was released today.
I haven’t mentioned it before but the Fürstenfeld Panthers recently managed for the first time ever to become Austrian basketball champion. I’m not particularly interested in basketball but I know/knew a few guys who play/played at this club and back then they just closely missed the title a few times.
So, congratulations guys!!!
Only two weeks to go until the 2008 edition of the Campusrock festival in Fürstenfeld. This time they are going big again!! In the sixth year of its existance the festival is two days long and open air on the Fürstenfeld air field for the first time. And also the bands playing are bigger than ever before:
Fri 6th June: Itchy Poopzkid, Emil Bulls, Machinemade God…
Sat 7th June: Chikinki, Slut, TNT Jackson, Partyshank,…

I think it’s gonna be great (well, I’ll only be there on Saturday) and I also hope that they wont have financial losses afterwards as they had three years ago when they had e.g. IAMX, Virgina Jetzt and 4lyn.
