I just recently came across this list of 15 very stupid names for Web 2.0 services. Most of the names tell you exactly nothing about what the application does. I have to say that I had never heard of most of them before but yes, most of the names are really stupid (see for example the ones below). But I can imagine that if you want to open a new service of that kind today it’s really hard to find an appropriate name (including the URL) that hasn’t been taken yet.

This morning I read on news.com that a hacker redirected the community section of Barack Obama’s website to Hillary Clinton’s site on Saturday. There is also a video on Youtube showing this.
Well actually I think that hackers can cause a lot of trouble to owners (and users) of affected websites but in this case for me it’s just another funny episode in the ridiculous American primaries.

Yes, the Bike TV people are on the road again! I just saw them earlier this afternoon at the Rathausplatz here in Vienna. They got a new concept now with only monthly episodes but they’re working on new stuff again.
