This afternoon I wanted to watch one of the videos at iptv.orf.at but I couldn’t because I had no Windows Media Player plugin installed in my Firefox (that’s not inculded in Windows Media Player 11). If you have the same problem just follow these instructions and it should work (at least it works now on my computer). You can also find the solution there, if you don’t have Firefox installed in the default location as I do.
By the way, I’m actually getting used to Vista now, I have to. Actually I do like some of its new features.

As I already mentioned yesterday, I finally bought a new laptop computer. Of course its default operating system was Windows Vista. Now actually I decided to stick with it (at least for now) because of the lack of some drivers I would need when switching to XP. Well some things I find really anoying in Vista like the lack of a “My Documents” (“Eigene Dateien”) folder. Some other things I think I just have to get used to.
So I will keep you updated about my Vista experiences. Photos of the new device to be following soon… you know where. -

So what’s my brand new computer worth if I can’t configure it just like I want it? Not that much I would say.
To be precise, I’m desperately trying to resize (shrink) the system partition (C:\) to free space and make a large data-partion. Well Vista has (in contrast to XP) an integrated partitioning function but this just won’t do what I want, just crap! I think tomorrow I will try to replace Vista Home Premium with XP Professional. Now I really understand why for example S. did the same thing before.
